A long-form interview series with Shane Lowe

No Armour

Success is the second half of the story.

Long-form interviews with people who built it, lost it, and had to start again. Hosted by a man who has done all three. Nobody gets to hide behind the highlight reel. Same three questions, every time:

  • 01What broke?
  • 02What truth did you have to face?
  • 03How did you rebuild?

No highlight reel

Most people will tell you how they won.Almost nobody will tell you what it cost them.

Success is documented almost entirely by people who are still winning. So the person in the middle of losing it has no map, and assumes the shame is a personal defect rather than the ordinary shape of the thing.

Why this exists

There is no honest record of what it costs. This is an attempt to build one.

01

For the person in it now

Not encouragement. Detail. What the collapse actually looked like from the inside, said by someone with no reason to flatter themselves — so it stops feeling like a private failure and starts looking like a stage.

02

For the person who has been through it

A setting where telling the truth is safe rather than risky. Agreed scope, consent over content, no manufactured redemption, and a host who has already had to answer the same three questions himself.

03

For the record

Every conversation adds to a searchable archive of first-hand accounts across very different lives — an athlete, a surgeon, a parent, a founder. The pattern across them is the point, not any single episode.

Shane hosts it because most people can ask the questions; very few can ask them from a position where the answer won't be judged. How we handle difficult stories.

The premise

Everyone shows you the build.Almost nobody shows you the rebuild.

One guest. One room. No media training, no clipping for virality, no rescue edits. Every conversation follows the same three questions: what broke, what truth you had to face, and how you actually rebuilt.

Shane hosts it because he has been through it — a blue-collar start, companies built and lost, time served, a second life built from sleeping rough to millions, and a second collapse after that. Nothing here glorifies the mistakes and nothing here is sold as motivation. It is just the honest version, said out loud.
